Houston Thanksgiving To-Go: Feasts, Sides and Pies for Pickup
Skip the kitchen chaos this Thanksgiving – Houston restaurants are offering takeout and catering that make feeding a crowd easy. From whole turkey dinners and roasts to sides like stuffing, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, tamales and seasonal desserts, here’s where to order your holiday meal this year.
Badolina Bakery, 5555 Morningside
Customers can pre-order breads like dinner rolls, sourdough and baguettes, plus à la carte desserts including Basque cheesecake and pumpkin mousse cake (whole starting at $50 or individual $10). Orders can be picked up Wednesday, November 26 or Thursday morning, November 27. Badolina Bakery will be open until noon on Thanksgiving Day.
Bar A BBQ, 21149 Eva
Bar-A-BBQ brings Texas smokehouse flavor to the holiday table with smoked turkey breast, pork butt, or brisket, plus sides like cheesy tater casserole, dirty rice dressing, and honey butter cornbread. Call 936-548-5658 to order. Pickup is Wednesday, November 26, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Camaraderie, 608 West 11th
Camaraderie is offering a luxurious Thanksgiving takeaway menu of “everything but the turkey,” including Parker House rolls ($8/dozen), roubouchon-style mashed potatoes ($18/quart), gravy ($12/quart) and honey chess pie ($45). Orders open November 1 and close Saturday, November 22 at 5 p.m., with pickup at the restaurant November 25 from 2–7 p.m. and November 26 from 2–9 p.m.
Demeris Bar-B-Q, 2911 South Shepherd, 1702 West Loop North
Demeris Bar-B-Q is offering its Thanksgiving meal package for $234.95, including a 14–16 pound whole turkey (serves 12–16), cornbread dressing, mac and cheese, green beans, cranberry sauce, turkey gravy, dinner rolls, and two pies (pumpkin, pecan or apple). Items can also be ordered à la carte, including mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, BBQ beans, potato salad, coleslaw, jalapeño corn, frijoles a la charra and Mexican rice. Orders are available now through November 25, with pickup the day before Thanksgiving.
Epicure Café, 2005 West Gray
Order pumpkin, apple, or pecan pies ($30 each) online November 14–December 31 or stop in for a slice ($5). Open Thanksgiving Day 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for last-minute pies and coffee.
Feges BBQ, 3 Greenway Plaza, 8217 Long Point
Feges BBQ is offering Thanksgiving to-go with smoked turkey breast, sliced brisket, housemade sausage links, Korean braised beans, hogfat cornbread with cinnamon honey butter, signature rubs and sauces, and a new fluff bake bar dutch apple pie ($55). Orders open November 3, with pickup at Spring Branch November 25–27 from 9 a.m.–8 p.m. and Greenway Plaza November 25–26 from 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
Pre-order Texas-style meal kits, featuring mesquite-smoked turkey breast or whole turkey, plus a selection of classic sides and homemade desserts. Meal kits serve 6–8 guests and range from $125 to $255, with additional à la carte options
Guard and Grace, 500 Dallas
Guard and Grace is offering Thanksgiving to-go feasts – each serves six and can include a complete meal with turkey or “everything but the bird” with signature holiday sides. Additional sides, appetizers, proteins (salmon, black cod, and TX redfish), and desserts are also available for a fully customized spread, with finishing instructions included. Orders must be placed by Tuesday, November 18, with pickup on Wednesday, November 26, from 9 a.m. ti 3 p.m. The restaurant will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27.
Hamsa, 5555 Morningside
Hamsa is offering two catering packages and à la carte sides and dip trays for pickup Wednesday, November 26. The Everything But the Turkey Package serves 6–8 for $75 and includes things like roasted carrots, turmeric potatoes, Israeli salad, dips and falafel, pumpkin mousse cake and Basque cheesecake. The Grazing Package serves 4–6 for $60 and features veggie crudité with whipped feta, merguez sausage, roasted veggie skewers and more. À la carte sides are $14 per pint or $25 per quart, and dip trays are $25 with optional add-ons. Hamsa will be closed on Thanksgiving, and all orders must be placed the day before.
Hungry’s, multiple locations
Hungry’s is offering holiday catering with options ranging from individually boxed meals to family-style dinners for four and large-format packages for bigger gatherings. Guests can take advantage of customized menus, delivery and full-service staffing, including TABC-certified bartenders.

Enjoy Thanksgiving sides made with ingredients sourced from local farms. State Fare’s southern-style to-go feast features deep-fried turkey, jalapeño and andouille cornbread stuffing, and classic sides. Packages feed 4–6 for $265. Order online November 1–23 for pick up November 25–26.

Owner Sylvia Casares is serving up tamales for the holidays, with options to-go from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve. Choose chicken, pork, or a combination for $22/dozen.
Traveler’s Table, 520 Westheimer
Traveler’s Table is offering a “Thanksgiving in the Islands” menu, featuring Island-Spiced Roasted Turkey Breast, Jerk Turkey Legs, or Trinidadian Vegetable Korma (serves 4–6), with sides like Yeast Rolls, Oxtail Gravy, and Caribbean Cornbread Stuffing (serves 4–6).
